Letitia James’ office intentionally withheld Marc Fishman’s federal lawsuit against disgraced New Rochelle officer Lane Schlesinger from her “pattern misconduct” investigation—while disclosing lawsuits against other officers in similar reports.
James’ office was simultaneously defending Judge Schauer and ADA D’Ambrosio—the very officials tied to Fishman’s false arrest under Schlesinger. Including Marc’s case in the AG’s report would have exposed conflicts of interest and required her recusal.
By concealing Marc’s case, the Attorney General obstructed justice, delayed resolution of his wrongful arrest, and prolonged years of disability-related suffering.
This isn’t just negligence—it’s malfeasance by the state’s top law enforcement officer. If the AG had reported the truth, Marc’s criminal case could have been dismissed and his federal rights restored long ago.
This corruption goes beyond mortgage fraud or harboring fugitives. It’s a systemic failure demanding full public exposure.
