Marc Fishman is a father of four, a disability rights advocate, and recipient of the New York
State Senate Commendation Award. After sustaining cognitive and auditory disabilities in multiple car accidents, Marc has fought to gain ADA protections in New York’s family courts.

But his greatest fight came when he was falsely arrested by a now-disgraced officer while trying
to see his children. His case has drawn attention from legal advocates, disability rights leaders,
and elected officials across New York.
